Here I go again

Well here I go again,
been silent for long,
it has been goin' on and on,
someone needs to stand up
and fight the pain.
well here I go again.

Yeah, here I go again,
standing in the pouring rain,
why is it so dark here,
where is the sun gone,
why i am feeling so alone,
its coming down so hard,
rain drops feel like metal shards,
who has mixed the blood in water,
where has the peace gone?

An Ode to Himesh

Keeping in mind the contributions of our own 'Himesh Bhaiya' to the hindi music scene in recent past, we decided to contribute precious few minutes of our life and bandwidth to him. The outcome of this was this video shot with trembling hands and respectful hearts.

Lets say a lil' prayer for the man himself and wish him all the luck for his new movie 'Aap Ka Suroor', the eternal love story of his life. And keep your fingers crossed, he is gonna reveal his hat(e) secret in the movie.

Wired 14.05: The RFID Hacking Underground

A decent article on various real-life hacking scenarios using RFID chips. I think this is going to be an interesting arena for people like early days of internet. And probably I should get in touch with the 'cloner guy' to make some duplicate key for my office

Satyam Story: The reasons

When the indian IT industry started booming somewhere in late 90's, there were four major players grabbing all the headlines. And they were TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Satyam. While the other three continued their ascent, Satyam lost its way somewhere and got booted out of the top bracket. After a long soul search Satyam management have finally found the reasons for this, ah wait not reasons actually their is a 'single' reason for that and that is the 'unprofessional' behaviour of the female empoyees.

According to the HR chief of Satyam, once women reach the age of 30-35 they become complacent and dont want to forge ahead. This shows the lack of dedication to the company, when all employees are expected to work for 14 hrs a day, these women folk leaving early for home create an unhealthy atmosphere in the company. What if all the males also start showing interest in their family life?? Just imagine the impact on the industry which is totally based on the concept of labor cost arbitrage.

Another interesting point found in this study is that single women especially the divorced ones have been responsible for slow growth of satym. Mr. Murthy thinks that single or divorced women is an concept alien to Indian culture and having these women in more visible position, affects the values and culture of Indian companies. As seeing these symbols of western civilization in power might encourage others to embrace it and start demanding blasphemous things like 40 hour weeks, yearly vacations, overtime etc. That will be the end of road for us.

Techtree.com India > News > Internet > Blogbar: Latest Sabeer Bhatia Muse

is this really something?? I am writing this comment using the google extension to the firefox and as much as I have been able to gather on this 'Sabeer Bhatia's ' new world changing innovation, it does not do much more than this extension.

But Sabeer's last night 'performance' at CNN IBN (www.ibnlive.com) was great, it felt like worl was going to change drastically because of this, the internet will be more of a democracy now and what not ,, but alas everything isnot gonna be a hotmail ....
