Somehow lot of Johnny Cash songs are very similar in content to Punjabi folk songs. Probably, Johnny Cash and Kuldip Manak were soul brothers.

Dippa Dosanjh - Tere Nakhre ney

One of the best songs of the last year, from "Raw as Folk" produced by Tru-Skool. Dippa is one of the best punjabi singer in my opinion, thought you rarely get to hear him. His new album is out though, few tunes sound catchy, though a bunch of them are recycled versions, even the title song "Dhola ve Dhola". Meanwhile enjoy this gem.

An Ode to Himesh

Keeping in mind the contributions of our own 'Himesh Bhaiya' to the hindi music scene in recent past, we decided to contribute precious few minutes of our life and bandwidth to him. The outcome of this was this video shot with trembling hands and respectful hearts.

Found some nice videos, while killing some time of youTube.

First one is the collabo between Gurdass Mann, Shinda and Abrar ,, One hell of a song, Looks like its coming out on Shinda's next album 'Collaborations' Traditional punjabi style boliyan, Mann and Abrar just kill' it ,, wicked .



Second one is Jazzy and Shinda having a go at some concert. Now I have nt heard of this song before on any of their albums, so this one also might be coming out on 'Collaborations'.
